Wix has finally unveiled their new editor: "Wix Studio", which boasts better features than any of their previous ventures. Read on Wix.com They offer a lot of new customization and workflow features, but I'm just happy about one thing (which should have been implemented a long time ago) - Wix Studio automatically resizes your website for mobile! Right on the heels of Squarespace's new feature announcement... I wonder if Wix is feeling competitive? 🤔 ♡ Love from Cat and Mouse Studio

Very exciting stuff from Squarespace! If you use Squarespace or might in the future, you'll definitely want to take a look at their "Refresh 2023" list of new features and improvements. Read on Squarespace.com They are dead set on being your all-in-one digital tool. From courses and bio pages to invoicing and project management, not to mention more updates for their templates, editor, and e-commerce, it's quite the impressive list. ♡ Love from Cat and Mouse Studio

So, with all this stuff going on with Weebly, where does that leave Cat and Mouse Studio?I said before that my own website is built on Weebly. I love it and will likely try to stay there are long as possible (I'm in the stubborn category, don't follow my example...) When I do move, it will likely be to Wix. I adore the freedom of design you have in Wix and the precision you have over every element, down to the pixel. As for my services, they will stay the same. I've always offered website...

Weebly is being phased out - we just don't know when. So what happens now? There are a few options:1. Stay with Weebly as long as possible2. Accept the changes and move to Square3. Move to a different platform entirely Staying with Weebly as long as possible is the stubborn option, but it may suit your situation or business. Even though they've raised their prices recently, Weebly is still one of the cheapest website builders out there. If you don't plan to sell anything online through your...

I want to talk about Weebly, which is where I create and redesign the majority of my clients' websites. It's also where my own website is built, so it's pretty important to me and the people I work with.To give you some backstory, Weebly was founded all the way back in 2006. In 2018, it was purchased by Square, Inc. and was integrated into their e-commerce toolset. Coincidentally, Weebly hasn't had a core update since 2018.Since being bought by Square, Weebly has gone through some changes...

woman looking at receipts and budgeting

Shed some light When my finances got more complicated, I was so tired of logging into multiple credit card and bank websites to see what I was spending (and what I was spending on). I never felt like I knew how much to spend at the grocery store, or what I could spend on Christmas gifts. I felt very in the dark about my own finances. That's when I created an easy, streamlined budget in Google Sheets (and immediately downloaded the app for it too). This was a game changer for my husband and I....
